Naturally, our intention was to start off our strategic work by listening and letting their voices not only shape the new brand, but also play an integral role in becoming a part of its ongoing success. What resulted was a total makeover of the identity, including a new logomark, color palette and identity system that accurately reflects the vibrant personality and genuine gratitude of those more than 100,000 proud Floridians eager to celebrate all the reasons why they LoveFL. Utilizing UV-sensitive photochromic inks, SPARK designed a unique, interactive map that, when exposed to sunlight, reveals unexpected Florida adventures. From prehistoric caverns to rare coral reefs, bioluminescent kayaking to America’s first underwater art museum, the map highlights outdoor adventures that take visitors beyond Florida’s famous beaches and theme parks.
A member of the only global association to serve art and design education research (Cumulus), RCAD opened with just 75 students and 111 course offerings. Today, the school serves more than 1,600 students enrolled in 13 BA and BFA degree programs and nine minors. Students in both programs will have the opportunity to compete for more than 100 seats in the SoA+AH+D study abroad program to explore art, art history, and design in an international context. The BFA program covers the basic principles of design, image making, color theory and typography. Students in this degree track do not choose a concentration and take courses across disciplines including Web Design, Publication Design, and Visual Identity.
